| Dyett & Bhatia was retained to revise the zoning ordinance to bring it into conformance with the new General Plan/Local Coastal Plan. Changes included consolidating residential districts, adding new mixed use zoning districts and pedestrian-oriented development standards, clarifying requirements for parking, landscaping and hillside/bluff development, and revising administrative procedures to make the clear and user-friendly. Also updated were the second unit and density bonus provisions for affordable housing and the sign controls. | |||||||
