| The Town of Gilbert has retained Dyett & Bhatia to undertake a comprehensive revision of the Uniform Land Development Code to implement the new ‘Smart Growth’ legislation, streamline the approval process, provide maximum flexibility in development administration, and reduce administrative costs. The new code will include extensive use of tables and graphic illustrations to make it user-friendly.The update process was initiated in September 2000 and will include outreach to stakeholders, analysis of project plans and recent development projects, and testing of regulatory options. A computerized zoning ordinance (CZO) also is being prepared, with assistance from Lane Kendig, inc. |
