| Dyett & Bhatia revised the City of Concord’s General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. The General Plan examines infill opportunities, greater linkages between BART and the city, and possibilities for reuse of the Concord Naval Weapons Station – one of the largest single development sites in the Bay Area. The Zoning Ordinance update includes comprehensive revisions to subdivision regulations, grading standards, environmental review procedures and related land use regulations and procedures to the existing Zoning Ordinance, adopted in 1953. Dyett & Bhatia started from the ground up with the City to update these documents in tandem, to ensure General Plan adequacy, consistency, and ease of implementation. |
