Mr. Dyett has led preparation of general plans for Lemoore, Los Banos, Porterville, Concord, San Ramon, Yuba City, Humboldt County, Chico and Vacaville. Other zoning assignments have included cities (San Jose, Monterey, Albany, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and Austin); counties (St. Mary's County, MD, and Larimer County, FL) downtowns (Chicago, Kansas City, Portland and Scottsdale); and transit-oriented and mixed-use development regulations (Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, and St. Paul, MN). He also advised St. Mary's County on how to make its proposed comprehensive plan responsive to Maryland's Smart Growth legislation.

Mr. Dyett is an acknowledged expert on land use/transportation integration, and has taught on this subject for the Technology Transfer Program at the University of California Institute of Transportation Studies. He was project manager for the BART Impact Program Land Use and Urban Development Project for MTC and led national case studies for US DOT, FHWA and HUD on beltways' impacts on urban areas and the economies of central cities. Recent international planning projects led by Mr. Dyett include the Kuwait National Greenery Plan and the Tainan Strategic Plan for the Republic of China.

Mr. Dyett holds a Master of Regional Planning from Harvard University, and an A.B. from Harvard College.
