Dyett & Bhatia has almost completed work on a new General Plan and EIR for the City of Los Banos, a community located in the heart of the Central Valley. Dyett & Bhatia was placed in charge of preparing a General Plan that could provide: a physical framework for development in the expanded City Sphere of Influence; an economic development strategy and design concepts to integrate new commercial and residential development into the fabric of the community; support for public facility investments; improvements in overall connectivity within the City; as well as approaches to dealing with growth issues to ensure the continued quality of life of current and future residents. As the General Plan update and EIR approached completion, Dyett & Bhatia was also retained to update the Los Banos Zoning Ordinance.
